Damon M. Brooks - Co-Founder & Vice-President

Damon Brooks is a retired NYPD Captain with more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement leadership, community engagement, and emergency management. His career includes key roles in patrol, counterterrorism operations, and field training, with a focus on preparedness, professional development, and strengthening police–community relationships.

Damon is an adjunct instructor at Bronx Community College and serves as the Region 4 Representative for the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State. He also supports graduate education as a Regional Recruiter for the Marist University MPA program and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management at St. John’s University. His work reflects a commitment to ethical leadership, education, and collaborative public safety across the Hudson Valley.
